The Information Service answers questions about the status of your case. For example the legal status of your residence permit or whether we have received any documents you may have sent us.
Please have your case number (DUF-number) available before you call.
How to send us information
If you have new information about your case, it is important that you send it to us.
How to send us information electronically
We generally encourage the use of electronic channels as it is faster and more flexible.
All lawyers are asked to use E-dialog to send information to us.
If you have a Norwegian 11-digit personal number, you can send the information electronically through secure digital transmission (KS SvarUT) (external link).
If you send us information by e-mail to email@example.com, we can receive information sent to us in the most common file formats. We will contact you if we get information in a file format we do not have access to. Please do not send sensitive personal data by e-mail.
