UNE has postponed all board hearings and other hearings (forvaltningssamtaler). The decision applies, for the time being, to the end of April.
– We have listened to the signals of the health authorities, says Head of Department, Øyvind Havnevik. – We want to do our best to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
It is too early to say when board hearings and other hearings can proceed as normal.
– We will have to get back to the question of when this will be. We will of course place great emphasis on the health authorities' advice and recommendations.
The decision means that some of those with a case in UNE will have to wait a little longer for a reply in their case.
– We apologise for the delay, but public health concerns come first. We will do our best to ensure that the delayed cases are processed as soon as possible, when circumstances allow it, Havnevik concludes.
UNE's Board Hearings Administrations Office will notify all those affected by the delay.
